Some culture media you don't realize how disgusting they are until you see the name written out in full, like:

• SBA: Sheep Blood Agar
• BHI: Brain Heart Infusion
• FBS: Fetal Bovine Serum (I'm sort of baffled as to why anyone would go to the trouble of creating a domain name and maintaining a homepage just for this reagent, but there you are)
• Or even the faintly edible-sounding Cooked Meat Medium...
