Darwin at the high net (yes, that's really his name)



18.5 by 21.2 cm. This is a papercut; some of the lines are on the order of half a millimeter across, a rete mirabile even if I say so myself.

Rats. apparently nobody got my pun yet. Rete mirabile literally means "wonderful net"; it's a dense network of very small blood vessels, say for example like diving mammals have for storing oxygen in.

And an amazing papercut! Jer'll break down and sob in despair when he sees it... (you should have seen him at the CNY papercut displays...)
